Members of the Over 55’s community group ushered in the festive season with their annual Christmas Meal prepared by the talented Nicola.  The event was filled with laughter, seasonal cheer and delicious food that left everyone in high spirits. The traditional Christmas dinner was delicious and a real festive treat, and the participants all admired the beautifully decorated Christmas tree.

As the group tucked in to their meal the chatter around the tables was lively and between courses many took the opportunity to capture the joyful moments, snapping photos with friends old and new.

Its events like these that remind us of the joy of community said Sarah, a long time member of the group. In the spirit of giving back, the group have been collecting donations for the Basingstoke Foodbank, for their Christmas Hamper Appeal.
