We’re delighted to share that the refurbishment of the kitchen at Sherfield Park Community Centre is now complete, and the transformation is fantastic.

This important upgrade has created a modern, safe, and much more functional space that will benefit the many groups, volunteers, and community events that use the centre throughout the year.

The project involved a full strip-out of the old kitchen and flooring, electrical alterations, changes to the layout including a new doorway with a fire-rated frame and door, and the installation of new safety flooring. The space has been finished with a beautiful modern two-tone kitchen, new double ovens, a larger induction hob, and full redecoration, giving the room a fresh and welcoming feel.

We would like to say a huge thank you to The Hampshire Renovation Company for carrying out the work. As a local building company, they have done a fantastic job delivering the project while we kept the centre operational. Their team went the extra mile, often working evenings and weekends to ensure everything was completed on schedule.

We would also like to thank Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council for providing the funding that made this refurbishment possible.
