The Community Centre

Sherfield Park Community Centre is a first class focal point for the residents of Sherfield Park, Vyne Park and Chineham and is home to some fantastic activities, groups and regular events.

We have somewhere that brings the whole community together that also welcomes in our friends from neighbouring communities. The range of activities and events are wide ranging and there is something to suit everyone!

The large main hall, which has a semi-sprung-floor, is used for everything from Zumba and Ballroom dancing to Childrens Parties and Christenings.

The Garden Room/Multipurpose Room is used for smaller clubs and classes and is an ideal space for smaller meetings, clubs or classes or is joined together to form a larger space perfect for functions, parties or commercial meetings/seminars.

There is a comfortable lounge area, making the ideal venue for drop-in sessions and coffee mornings. The centre also has a fully fitted kitchen.

In addition, the centre provides full facilities for the disabled including toilets in both the main building and sports change rooms together with dedicated parking.

Defibrillator

A defib unit is installed at the centre. It is located on the wall outside the rear of the building between the kitchen and Main hall doors. To access the unit call 999 and they will give you a 4 digit code to open the case.

You do not need to be First Aid trained to use it but instructions are in the box. We are currently looking into Emergency First aid training for residents to include Defib demo. Details will be published soon.
