💚 Could You Help Make a Difference in Sherfield Park?

Sherfield Park Community Association is looking for a couple of new Trustees to join our friendly, dedicated volunteer team!

We’re the people who work behind the scenes to keep our busy Community Centre running, bring people together and provide activities, events and wellbeing opportunities for our local community.

🤝 What does being a Trustee involve?

Trustees help guide the future of the Association, making sure the Centre is well managed, financially sustainable and continues to meet the needs of our community.

There’s plenty to get involved in, depending on your interests and the time you can give. You could help with:

🏡 Looking after our Centre – helping with opening up and locking up for hirers, or setting up and clearing away after events.

📋 Planning for the future – reviewing our business plan, developing policies and helping make important decisions.

💷 Fundraising and grants – finding funding opportunities, applying for grants and seeking sponsorship.

🎉 Supporting activities and events – helping make our events, groups and community projects a success.

💡 Sharing your skills and ideas – whether you’re good at administration, finance, IT, AI, organising events or simply getting things done!

⏰ How much time is involved?

We meet once a month, with additional time depending on what you can offer and the tasks you choose to take on. Every little bit helps, and we recognise that everyone has different commitments.

You don’t need previous trustee experience or charity expertise – just enthusiasm, a willingness to work as part of a team and a desire to make a difference locally.

Being a Trustee is a chance to meet great people, learn new skills and help shape the future of a facility that means so much to Sherfield Park.
